An experience like no other!! Whether it is your first visit to the Holy Land, your second third or countless time, this experience will leave you with a new appreciation to the nature and how our ancestors lived. The Biblical Experience will be led by Emmanuel, a licensed Primitive Skills and Survival Specialist. You will learn how to forage for food in the Holy Land using plants that have been growing here since Biblical Times. You will learn to create fire, your own torch and shelter using just basic skills. We hope you go back home with new Life Skills and a new appreciation of the Land of Israel and nature in general. As Primitive Skills Specialists; we have worked to introduce skills that could have been used in Biblical Time. How did people eat and live and find shelter 2000 or 300 years ago?
Water, Water, Water! It is imperative to always keep yourself hydrated. For most hikes a good pair of Sneakers is all you need. I always suggest carrying a small first aid with you.
5 star hotels to camping is available. Choose what suits you best! Always happy to pass on other travellers’ experiences.
Taxis; Taxis work by meter. Always ask for a receipt; this is an excellent way to track a taxi if you happen to leave things in the taxi. One can also use the gett app
Train; Perfect way to visit major cities along the coast and especially to the airport and between Jerusalem and Tel Aviv
Bus and Light Rail; Travelling by public transport enables you to join the different mosaic of people that live in Israel. To do this one needs to purchase a ‘Rav Kav’ Card which is available from light rail stations and other official places including the airport.
It is very easy to find Kosher Food in Israel.
Kosher restaurants require that Milk and Meat are not cooked together. So a meat restaurant will have no milk and vice versa
There are also a plethora of Vegan restaurants especially in Tel Aviv.
If you have allergies; we suggest that you write down your allergies and google translate into Hebrew/ Arabic so you can show them to restaurants/cafes. We are also happy to prepare this for you.
At present no vaccinations are needed to enter Israel.
