At Ein Gedi we will take a short hike in an oasis in the desert and enjoy being part of the nature.
The Jewel in the crown of the day is Masada.. We will go back 2000 years in history and simultaneously listen to the story of King Herod (30BCE) and the Zealots in 73CE. Prepare for something special.
We will complete the day with a short visit to the Dead Sea. You will enjoy floating at the lowest place on earth.
One can choose to visit this interesting city by exploring the Jewish sites which include the cave of Machpelah where the Matriarchs and Patriachs of the Jewish people are buried.
One can also see archeology at Tel Hebron and Tel Rumedia and see Biblical history.
One can also integrate a Dual narrative Tour in Jerusalem and meet both Israeli and Palestinians and understand their different narratives.
We start off the day at Ein Praat. We will visit the place where the prophet Jeremiah was brought up and enjoy hiking in his ‘playground’
Our next stop is Shilo, we will visit the place where the Tabernacle was for 369 years and understand the biblical stories that happened here.
There are also possiblites of visiting a winery in Samaria and understand why a couple of thousand years ago; people also made wine here.
To complete the day we will visit Mount Gerizim and visit the ancient Samaritans and understand there place in biblical history. We will also visit and meet modern day Samaritans.
Water, Water, Water! It is imperative to always keep yourself hydrated. For most hikes a good pair of Sneakers is all you need. I always suggest carrying a small first aid with you.

Taxis; Taxis work by meter. Always ask for a receipt; this is an excellent way to track a taxi if you happen to leave things in the taxi. One can also use the gett app
Train; Perfect way to visit major cities along the coast and especially to the airport and between Jerusalem and Tel Aviv
Bus and Light Rail; Travelling by public transport enables you to join the different mosaic of people that live in Israel. To do this one needs to purchase a ‘Rav Kav’ Card which is available from light rail stations and other official places including the airport.
It is very easy to find Kosher Food in Israel.
Kosher restaurants require that Milk and Meat are not cooked together. So a meat restaurant will have no milk and vice versa
There are also a plethora of Vegan restaurants especially in Tel Aviv.
If you have allergies; we suggest that you write down your allergies and google translate into Hebrew/ Arabic so you can show them to restaurants/cafes. We are also happy to prepare this for you.
At present no vaccinations are needed to enter Israel.
